This presentation focuses on the transformative role of 3D data in (GIS), emphasizing the workflow from data acquisition through LiDAR, processing with Cloud Compare, analysis in ArcGIS Pro, to visualization in ArcGIS Enterprise. We begin by highlighting the capture of high-resolution 3D LiDAR data, crucial for detailed spatial analysis. The discussion then moves to data processing and analysis, utilizing Cloud Compare for point cloud editing and ArcGIS Pro for spatial modeling, showcasing how these tools together enhance the accuracy and utility of GIS applications. The final step in our workflow is the visualization and sharing of 3D models via ArcGIS Enterprise, enabling interactive mapping experiences for environmental management. Two practical examples underscore the value of integrating 3D data into GIS. This streamlined overview aims to demonstrate the power of 3D data in enriching GIS analyses and the broad implications for environmental sustainability.
