This presentation will focus on Mapping Delaware Equity Focus Areas. The presentation will showcase how Pennoni and DelDOT collaboratively developed public-facing GIS solutions that provide opportunities for data driven decisions in a transparent and easy to understand format. The layering and analysis of numerous datasets from various sources has allowed DelDOT to identify focus areas, assist in the prioritization of resiliency and sustainability projects and initiatives, aid in investment decisions, and create informed public engagement strategies. Pennoni and DelDOT will walk through the project workflow focusing on aggregating authoritative datasets, running spatial analysis tools in ArcGIS Pro, and producing web applications with Web App Builder and Story Maps to share the results with a variety of stakeholders- including the public.
