Mapping Delaware Schools

For the past decade, the Washington College GIS Program has collaborated with the Delaware Department of Education to maintain school and student GIS data layers for the state of Delaware. Leveraging ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, and ArcGIS Experience Builder, we will demonstrate current innovations in GIS applications using school location data in conjunction with other publicly available datasets. Additionally, we will explore lessons learned throughout years of working with self-reported address information for public school students. Through this work, we serve the families of Delaware's public schools, empowering them to take charge of their students' education.
